Honorary Chairman
Oğuz Tezmen, a respected bureaucrat and businessman in our country, completed his secondary education at Özel Tarhan College and his undergraduate studies at Ankara University, Faculty of Political Sciences.
Beginning his career in the public sector, Oğuz Tezmen served as the General Director of the National Lottery Administration in 1987. Between 1989 and 1993, he held positions including Deputy Undersecretary of the State Planning Organization, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Transportation, and Chairman of the Board of Turkish Telekom. In 1997, he was appointed as the Chairman of the Board of Turkish Airlines.
Later, Oğuz Tezmen continued his business career in the private sector. He served as an Executive Board Member at Toprak Holding and held the position of CEO at the Turkish Cement Manufacturers' Association for ten years.
Starting from 2005, Tezmen has been the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Tera Yatırım Securities Inc. He continues his role as Honorary Chairman at the same company since 2023. Oğuz Tezmen also serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors at Arena Finance Factoring Inc. since 2015.
With extensive experience in both the public and private sectors, Oğuz Tezmen has translated his business expertise into active involvement in various civil society organizations. He has held positions such as General Secretary of the Federation of Construction Products Manufacturers, Member of the Board of Directors of TÜRKONFED, Chairman of the Permanent Committee on Climate Change at TOOB, Deputy Chairman of the Cement Products Sector Council at TOBB, and Member of the Executive Board of the European Cement Association (CEMBREAU).
As one of Turkey's leading business figures, Oğuz Tezmen continues to be actively engaged in various fields.
